Men and Self-Care

Posted on August 2, 2018

As the names indicate, the Men’s Health Forum, the Global Action on Men’s Health, and associated bodies focus particularly on men’s health. Men tend to be less good at looking after their health than women, so it is with enthusiasm that ISF has joined the advisory panel for a new study entitled the ‘Men and Self Care Project’.

A report will be produced on men’s beliefs, attitudes and behaviours concerning self care, examples of successful interventions by health and other organisations, the potential for improvement, and recommendations for action on research, policy and practice. The project will take a global perspective.
