Programme: ESEP is a leading college of nursing in Portugal, awarding graduate and master’s degrees in nursing subjects. It is the leading institution for self-care in Portugal. ISF supported ESEP in their Self-Care International Forum on 18-19 November 2016, at which a major new book was launched entitled “A Pessoa Dependente & O Familiar Cuidador” (“The Dependent Person and Family Caregivers”). This book uses ISF’s “7 pillars of self-care” and addresses the important subject of how family caregivers can help their dependent relations to self-care.
